From Chaos to Creative: An Office Reset for 2026

  • Dec 29, 2025
  • 3 min read

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been the past month — first of all, thank you for sticking around 💜Second… life happened. Fast.

I had to have another surgery that came up quickly, and with that quick turnaround this close to the holidays, things got a little chaotic. Between working full days, recovering, and trying to get everything bought, wrapped, and ready for Christmas, sitting down to be creative just wasn’t in the cards for a bit.

I’m hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday season — and I’m so grateful for the love, patience, and support during ours.

A Very Merry (and Very Productive) Christmas 🎄

Despite the chaos, I was incredibly blessed this Christmas. Thanks to my amazing hubby and kids, I’m now the proud owner of:

  • A 3D printer

  • A new heavy-duty color printer

  • A new monitor

  • Meta AI glasses (still wrapping my brain around these!)

All amazing, exciting upgrades……but also the final push that made it impossible to ignore one very obvious problem:

👉 My craft/office space has officially overflowed.

When “Making It Work” Stops Working

For a long time, I’ve been squeezing things in, stacking things up, and telling myself “I’ll reorganize later.” Well… later has arrived.

Between new equipment, ongoing projects, and the everyday chaos of a creative business, my space went from functional to frustrating — fast. And if I’m being honest, it started to affect my motivation.

So instead of limping into the new year with clutter and chaos, we’re doing something different.

Welcome to the 2026 Office Upgrade ✨

We’re heading into 2026 with a full office reset.

The goal?

  • Less clutter

  • Better flow

  • Space that actually supports creativity instead of fighting it

I’ll be sharing this whole process as it happens — the good, the messy, and the “why did I keep this?” moments.

Office Reset for 2026: Before Photos

Before any changes, here’s the reality of where things stood.

📸 Before photos — cluttered, crowded, and bursting at the seams

Life got chaotic after surgery and the holidays, so we’re starting 2026 with a full office reset. Follow along as this cluttered craft space gets a much-needed makeover.

This was years of tools, supplies, and ideas layered on top of each other with no real system anymore.

The Vision: Where We’re Headed

After talking it through, measuring, and dreaming a little, we mapped out a future layout that makes room for:

  • Dedicated printer and 3D printer stations

  • Clear work surfaces

  • Better storage

  • A cleaner, calmer workspace

📸 Future room concept / layout inspiration

This is the dream. Less clutter. More space. A workspace that doesn’t stress me out before I even sit down. Day 1 starts with clearing everything out — wish me luck.

Day 1: The Clean-Out Begins 🧹

And then… it was time to start.

Day 1 was all about clearing, not organizing. No bins. No labels. Just:

  • Pulling everything out

  • Making piles

  • Letting go of what no longer serves this season

📸 Day 1 clean-out photos

Messy? Yes. Necessary? Absolutely.

Day 1: When the clutter leaves and the panic briefly increases — but the vision starts to feel possible.

Come Along for the Ride

This isn’t going to be a one-day transformation — and I don’t want it to be. I want to do this thoughtfully, realistically, and in a way that actually works long-term.

So if you:

  • Love behind-the-scenes projects

  • Are tackling your own cluttered space

  • Or just enjoy a good before-and-after

You’re officially invited along for the ride.

More updates coming soon — and this time, hopefully from a desk that isn’t buried under boxes 😉

💜 Thanks for being here,

Tracy
