🌀 Manic Monday: Home Office Organization — Finding a Home for Everything

Two weeks to the day after emptying this room down to bare walls, floors, and chaos… I officially started moving things back in.

And let me tell you — this stage might be the most mentally exhausting part of the whole office reset.

The demo is done.

The cabinets are in.

The floors are finished.

The dust has (mostly) settled.

Now comes the tedious part: finding a functional home for everything.

📸 Where We’re At Now: Home Office Organization in Progress

Home office after renovation with white cabinets, black countertops, finished flooring, and workspace set up as organization begins.
Manic Monday begins. The office is officially complete and the slow process of putting things away — the right way — has started.

This phase of the reset is focused entirely on home office organization — finding functional, realistic places for every tool, supply, and project so the space actually works day to day for real life.

This is the office as of today — completed, functional, and slowly coming back to life. Cabinets are installed, counters are clear, and I’ve started placing the essentials where they actually make sense for how I work.

It already feels calmer… even though it’s not done yet.

📦 And Then There’s This…

Pile of office supplies, boxes, and equipment waiting to be organized and put away after a home office renovation.
The part no one warns you about. Everything that still needs to be put away, organized, and given a functional home.

Everything that still needs to be put away.

Every bin, box, drawer, random tool, supply, and “I’ll deal with this later” item that’s been living in other rooms while demo was happening now needs:

  • A purpose

  • A location

  • And honestly… sometimes a reality check

This is where the real decision-making happens. What stays? What goes? What gets easy access vs. tucked-away storage?

🎉 A Big Win in the Middle of the Chaos

Even in the middle of this Manic Monday moment, something exciting happened — three Etsy orders came through tonight 🎉

There’s something really motivating about watching this space come together while the business it supports is actively moving forward. It’s a reminder of why we did this reset in the first place.

What’s Next

This week is all about:

  • Putting systems in place

  • Testing what works (and what doesn’t)

  • Tweaking layouts before things become permanent

It’s messy.

It’s slow.

And it’s exactly where the real transformation happens.

Welcome to Manic Monday — the part where everything finally starts finding its home.

I’ll keep sharing progress as the organization takes shape — because I know I can’t be the only one who finds this stage both satisfying and overwhelming at the same time.
